There are various ways to polish the hooks, which you can find online. A jewellery polishing cloth can be used on most metals to restore shine, and keeping your items in a plastic baggie can also help slow the process of tarnishing.

If leather earrings become curled or kinked, a flat iron can straighten them back into shape. Be careful not to make it too hot, or it can melt or ruin the leather.

As the thread may shrink, causing earrings to look gnarled. Do not bathe, swim, or do sports when wearing your jewellery and also be aware of beadwork when wearing strappy clothing, purses, seatbelts, long hair, etc., as the beads can become tangled into these things causing them to pull the strings and tear them apart.

I've not worn beaded earrings before, how should they be worn?

Although we use the most high quality products and ensure all our products are waxed for long-time wear, it is important to be mindful of your earrings whilst wearing them. Avoid wearing clothes that they could get caught on or rub against (eg. lace or silk).

Due to the length of some of our earrings, they should be worn with care.
